Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya and MangoMango Dessert Launch Several Tas-tea New Options
MangoMango Dessert and Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya recently launched several new menu items including seasonal dishes and location-exclusive drinks.
We’re here to spill the tea: Two local businesses MangoMango Dessert and Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya are launching seasonal dishes and location-exclusive drinks! MangoMango Dessert recently added three new beverages to its quali-tea line-up: a Creamy Peach Smoothie-O, Moonlight Pineapple, and Pineapple Iced Tea. And starting October 15, Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya will roll out seasonal dishes that will be available through the end of December at all of its Hawaii locations. Customers will be able to enjoy Mapo Tofu Mazemen, a Vegan Mapo Tofu Mazemen, a Mapo Tofu Rice, a Vegan Mapo Tofu Rice, and Chikuwa Tempura (Japanese fish cake).
“We love to keep things fresh and exciting and are thrilled to introduce these new dishes and flavors for our guests to enjoy,” said Tina Wang, owner of Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya and Hawaii-exclusive franchise owner of MangoMango Dessert. “We know that kamaaina love pineapple and fresh fruits, as well as vegan options, and we believe they will enjoy our exciting twists on classic teas and ramen bowls.”
Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya’s New Seasonal Menu
Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya’s seasonal menu will tofu-lly be worth the wait. Available October 15, through the end of December, customers can enjoy a Mapo Tofu Mazemen ($15.99) that includes tofu, eggplant, ground pork, green peas, and chives on a bed of thin noodles. The Mapo Tofu Mazemen will also be available in a vegan-friendly version that features tofu, eggplant, green peas, and chives on a bed of thin noodles. Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya will also offer a Mapo Tofu Rice ($14.99) that includes tofu, ground pork, peas, chives, eggplant, and a seasoned egg over rice with a vegan-friendly version for $14.99. To complement their meal, diners can try the restaurant’s new Chikuwa Tempura ($6.99), a Japanese fish cake fried in a tempura batter.
MangoMango Dessert’s New Drinks
Available exclusively at MangoMango Dessert’s Ala Moana Center location, the dessert eatery is now offering three new drinks: a Creamy Peach Smoothie-O ($8.00), a Moonlight Peach ($8.50), and a Pineapple Iced Tea ($8.00) – all made with fresh fruits and high-quality ingredients.
