Hawaii Welcomes a New Dessert Shop That Will Make Every Man-go Crazy

The Hong Kong-inspired dessert spot, MangoMango Dessert, will open its first Hawaii location in Pearlridge Center, offering a sweet selection of mango-flavored treats and drinks 

HONOLULU (December 7, 2021) – Snack time is about to get a little bit sweeter! MangoMango Dessert is making its Hawaii debut in Pearlridge Center on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Their new location will be next to Aloha Salads on the main level of Wai Makai (Downtown). The New York-based chain will feature a tasty assortment of traditional Hong Kong-style desserts including a variety of mango-flavored treats, fresh fruit bowls and drinks, handcrafted cakes and much more — all prepared with high-quality ingredients that will delight any sweet tooth. With over 30 locations nationwide, Oahu diners can now enjoy their signature Mango Mochi, Green Tea Mille Crepe, Durian Dessert Bowl, and the famously known Coconut Mango Smoothie-o. 

“We are excited to bring this new dessert concept to the islands and offer local foodies exciting options such as a sweet and exciting twist on classic drinks like teas and boba drinks, as well as popular desserts,” said Tina Wang, Hawaii-exclusive franchise owner of MangoMango Dessert. “We know that kamaaina love mango and fresh fruits and believe they will enjoy our wide selection of mango and fruit-flavored treats.”

To celebrate the grand opening of its first Hawaii location in Pearlridge Center on December 14, MangoMango Dessert will offer customers who spend $15 or more one (1) free drink of their choice of Mango Smoothie-O, Signature Bubble Milk Tea, Grapefruit Sliced Tea, Passionfruit Green Tea, Jasmine Cheese Foam Jasmine Tea. Additionally during the grand opening weekend from December 18 to 19, customers who spend $30 or more will receive one (1) free drink of their choice of Mango Smoothie-O, Signature Bubble Milk Tea, Grapefruit Sliced Tea, Passionfruit Green Tea, Jasmine Cheese Foam Jasmine Tea, along with a free MangoMango Dessert glass bottle. 

MangoMango Dessert has over 30 locations in 12 states across the U.S. Known for fusing sweet soups in a traditional Hong Kong style with a modern twist, the dessert eatery innovates teas, ice cream, crepes and waffles. MangoMango Dessert implements the most sophisticated cooking methods with the freshest and finest ingredients to create their handcrafted desserts.

Highlights from the menu include a Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo that’s served with mango ice cream, a Durian Dessert Bowl, a Mango Mille Crepe Cake, and an Ube Soup with Sago and Rice Balls. And to wash it all down, you can enjoy their famous Coconut Mango Smoothie-o, Mixed Fruit Jasmine Tea, Snow White Strawberry Smoothie, Cheese Foam Strawberry Tea, Taro Boba Milk and much more.

    In case you didn’t know, you can also order a full crepe cake for birthdays and special occasions, with advanced noticed of course. But know that the full cake is HUGE and they boxed it up real nice with a bow for us!
